The Medical Reserve Corps is a team of pre-identified, trained, and credentialed volunteers who augment local community health and medical services during disasters and other public health activities. These volunteers include physicians, nurses, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, other health and medical professionals, as well as non-medical individuals who are willing to support the MRC and their community.

The Manasota MRC serves Manatee and Sarasota counties, and participates in over numerous large gathering events every year. They setup and staff medical aid stations and respond in mini emergency response vehicles. Over the past several years they've responded to multiple emergency incidents, providing care to both the public and first responders.
