The Health Coach is a 40-foot long bus which can provide DOH-Manatee the flexibility to bring outreach services to those we serve in the community. Fully self-contained, the Health Coach allows staff to bring health screenings, immunizations, educational programs, WIC (Women, Infants and Children), or other services to health fairs or other events.
Services performed on the Health Coach are provided by qualified, professional public health staff. They are confidential and targeted to support and promote prevention and established programs to meet community health needs.
