The primary goal of our immunization program is to prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases in Manatee County. Immunizations (also called vaccines) are a safe, effective way to protect your child from getting measles, mumps and many other serious diseases. We offer the immunizations that are required for school and child care.
The Florida Department of Health in Manatee County offers free childhood immunizations Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Please note that all vaccinations are offered on an appointment-only basis.
For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 941-748-0747, option 4.
Free Immunizations
Required immunizations are provided free of charge to all eligible children under 19 years of age. (Funded by the federal Vaccines for Children Program.)
We use Florida SHOTS, the state's electronic database for storing immunization information. No matter where you may eventually live in Florida, your child's immunization information is only a mouse click away.
