Environmental Public Health

DOH-Manatee works to prevent disease of environmental origin that can impact public health. Environmental Public Health activities focus on prevention, preparedness, and education and are implemented through routine monitoring, education, surveillance, and sampling of facilities and conditions that may contribute to the occurrence or transmission of disease.
