The Florida Department of Health in Manatee County (DOH-Manatee) provides a variety of women’s health services.

Pregnancy Testing
Confidential pregnancy testing (urine/blood) is available. Results are available immediately. Fees are charged on a sliding scale based on income and are determined through an eligibility process.
Family Planning Services
Confidential, comprehensive Family Planning services to those who are of childbearing age.
Family Planning Medicaid Waiver Program
Under the Medicaid Family Planning Waiver Program, women are provided:
- Annual physical exams, including a pap smear
- Pregnancy testing (if indicated)
- Limited treatment for sexually transmitted infections
- Related medicines and lab tests
Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention
No-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings for women who are 50 to 64 years of age, low income, and uninsured or underinsured.
